Enchanted Studio Scraps

Enchanted Studio Scraps is having a Pixie Call (Site CT) and I've entered the challenge. The challenge is four weeks long and our task is to create a layout each week with the designated kit.

Week One kicked off on Monday. We are to create a layout using the kit Romance Me by A+ Designs.

This kit is absolutely gorgeous and I had so much fun creating a layout with it. Here is my layout of my sweet, little Cole as a newborn.

Swim School - Week 7

This week was exciting for me! We learned how to use blending and the gradient tool. I've always seen this done on layouts and just think that it's a beautiful way to create a layout. Here is mine:

I scrapped a photo of my hubby and I that was taken at a 30th Birthday Party.

Swim School - Week Six

The homework for this week was to create our own elements. I used the Cookie Cutter tool in Elements to do this. In my LO, I created the paw prints and the paper clip. It was very easy to do.

Swim School - Week Five

The Law of Thirds. Something I've NEVER even heard of. Course, I'm pretty new to the digiscrapping world. It makes complete sense but was a bit of a mystery to me. We were given this template:

Basically the object of the rule is to use the dots/squares as your focal points of your layout. Put images either in the boxes or allign faces/images where the dots are. Here is my lei-out:

My daughter's faces are alligned where the two lower dots are.

Swim School - Week Four

The assignment for this week was to create custom Drop Shadows. Drop Shadows are something that took me a while to figure out. I use Photoshop Elements 5 to create my layouts and the preset shadows don't always look right to me. I had to learn how to create my own a different way.

Here is my Week 4 Lei-out:

Swim School - Week Three

The assignment given to us for the week was Negative Space Layouts. This kind of layout is something that I really love. It was very easy for me to come up with my LO for this assignment and here it is:

Swim School - Week Two

This week our assignment was to use a Layered Template. We were all given the same template to use with our assignment. It was really neat to see all of the different lei-outs using the same template. Here is mine:

Swim School - Week One

I've been participating in the Swim School at Scrapable. Each week we have a new assignment that we have to complete. It's been a lot of fun.

Week Ones assignment was to create a basic layout. Here is mine:

I chose to scrap a picture of my daughter, Mattisen. I think the title and picture pretty much say it all. LOL!

I used Rock On: Chicks Rule by Lauren Grier at Sweet Shoppe Designs.

Lots Happening in my Scrapping World!

Some very exciting news for me is that I'm now a part of the Creative Team for Sarah Morgan Designs!! I'm so excited to share this news. This is a huge step for me. Here are a couple of the layouts that I've created using her products:

The first layout is using her collab kit with Gabby Palmer Digitals called BBQ and Bottle Rockets. I scrapped some pictures from our Tahoe trip for the July 4th holiday.

The second layout is using her kit The Great Outdoors.

Both of these kits can be found at Inspiration-Lane.

In other news, I'm now an Aloha Girl at Scrapable. I get to spread love around the gallery and forum every day. It's fun to see all the wonderful Lei-Outs being created by all in Paradise. If you want to come check out the fun, make sure to stop by and say hello. All the ladies there are awesome!
